Seven men in police uniforms kill three family members

NAWABSHAH:

Seven unidentified men in police uniforms barged into a home in Goth Bagh Zardari near Nawabshah and shot dead three members of the family. The assailants left the scene unchallenged as neighbours cowered in their homes and lanes avoiding to come in front of the ruthless killers. Upon receiving the information, Taluka Police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to Peoples Medical College and Hospital.

Police handed over the bodies to the heirs after legal action. Relatives and other people protested by placing dead bodies at Chanesar stop on Qazi Ahmed and Nawabshah Road. The movement of traffic remained suspended due to the protest. Later, DSP President reached the spot and held talks with the relatives of the victims and assured that the accused will be arrested in any case. On the assurance of police, the heirs ended the protest. SSP Tanveer Hussain said that Dadlu alias Sharif Zardari and his wife Sania Zardari and a woman Sharifan Zardari are among the dead. The accused also belong to the Zardari community, who are close relatives of the victims, and there was a dispute between the two communities. Police are conducting raids to arrest the accused.
