Katy Perry made a memorable return to the VMAs on Wednesday, stepping onto the 2024 red carpet in a striking two-piece outfit from the Who Decides War runway.

The “Woman’s World” singer, 39, who is set to receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the event, wore a daring white one-shoulder crop top and low-waisted skirt as she walked the red carpet at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, NY.

Perry kept her accessories minimal, wearing only a metal arm piece, and styled her hair in a wet, grunge look.

At one point, she turned to reveal a QR code tattoo on her lower back, which, when scanned, allows fans to pre-save her upcoming album, “143.”

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor, dressed in an all-black suit, held hands with Perry, and the couple shared a quick kiss before he stepped aside.

Perry, who last attended the VMAs in 2017 when she hosted, is making her comeback in 2024 in a big way.

MTV has confirmed that she will perform “a show-stopping, career-spanning medley” of her greatest hits during the show.

With five VMAs already under her belt, Perry is also gearing up for the release of her new album “143” on September 20.

Over the years, Perry has made several bold fashion statements at the VMAs, including a sequined dress with a record theme in 2011, a Britney Spears-inspired denim gown in 2014, and a metallic spacesuit in 2017.

Tune in to the 2024 VMAs on MTV at 8 p.m. ET to see Perry’s next iconic look.
