Lauren Sánchez's son Nikko Gonzalez is her biggest fan as she releases first children's book

Lauren Sánchez, a former TV anchor turned author and Jeff Bezos', has released her first children's book, The Fly Who Flew to Space. The book follows a curious fly named Flynn who gets trapped in a rocket and learns about space, Earth, and the importance of protecting it.

In a recent Instagram post, Sánchez shared a loving snap of her son Nikko Gonzalez, 23, holding up the book. Gonzalez is seen going down an escalator, smizing as he proudly holds up the book. Sánchez captioned the photo, "Look who bought a book!!!!!"
 

The book is inspired by Sánchez's own life experiences, including a fun story about a fly that got into the cockpit of a plane she was flying with her kids. Her kids were concerned about the fly's family, but Sánchez saw it as an opportunity for the fly to experience the world from a different perspective.

The Fly Who Flew to Space is now available in bookstores and online. Sánchez's son Nikko Gonzalez might be her biggest fan, but the book is sure to delight kids and parents alike.
