Diddy faces new lawsuit with allegations of sexual and physical abuse
Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing new allegations of abuse from former bandmate Dawn Richard, as revealed in a recent lawsuit. According to the suit obtained by TMZ, Richard accuses Diddy of sexually and physically abusing her while they worked together on the 2004 MTV show Making The Band. Richard claims that Diddy manipulated her by promising to help advance her singing career in exchange for compliance with his demands.
The lawsuit also details Richard’s alleged witnessing of violent behavior from Diddy toward his former girlfriend, Cassie. Richard recalls incidents in 2009 when she saw Diddy, reportedly under the influence of drugs, throwing Cassie against a wall, choking her, and dragging her up a flight of stairs. She claims Diddy also hurled a scalding pan of eggs at Cassie in a separate incident.
The court documents allege that Diddy’s abusive behavior extended to Richard as well. She claims that he forced her to rehearse for long hours without sleep, leaving her physically and mentally exhausted. Richard also accuses Diddy of inappropriate touching and locking her in a car for two hours.
Richard alleges that her father had to intervene to remove her from Diddy's control. The lawsuit paints a disturbing picture of prolonged abuse, with Richard now seeking legal action.
