Taylor Swift will 'pay the price' for endorsing Kamala Harris, warns Donald Trump
Former President Donald Trump issued a warning to pop star Taylor Swift, suggesting that she would “probably pay a price” for publicly endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris. Speaking on Fox & Friends, Trump said, “She seems to always endorse a Democrat, and she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace.” Trump dismissed Swift’s political stance, stating, "I was not a Taylor Swift fan."
Trump went on to express his preference for Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, stating, “I like Brittany... she's a big MAGA fan, that’s the one I like much better than Taylor Swift.”
Swift, who had largely stayed silent on the 2024 election until recently, declared her support for Harris after the presidential debate, posting on Instagram: "I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election." Swift also condemned Trump for sharing AI-generated deepfake images of her endorsing his campaign, calling the use of such content dangerous and misleading.
Trump's comments have sparked conversation about Swift's influence on younger voters, while Swift continues to advocate for voter education and democratic engagement.
