Kathy Griffin has expressed disappointment over her strained relationship with Andy Cohen and Bravo, revealing that she feels "thrown away like a piece of trash" after her 2017 Trump photo controversy. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly during her ongoing "My Life on the PTSD-List" comedy tour, Griffin, 63, discussed how the fallout from the incident led to being distanced by former friends Cohen and Anderson Cooper, both of whom she claims abandoned her during the difficult time. Griffin noted she has received "no apologies" from her ex-friends or industry colleagues.

The Emmy-winning comedian also shared that Bravo rejected her ideas for a spinoff of her popular docuseries My Life on the D-List, despite her pride in the show. She reflected, "It hurts that they never let me do a spinoff... It hurts that they don’t want to do a D-List 2.0." An insider source, however, told EW that Griffin’s claims about Bravo’s scripting attempts and other details are inaccurate, adding that Andy Cohen has already addressed these issues and wished her the best.

Cohen had previously responded to Griffin’s criticism, telling Howard Stern that he "gets" why she might hold animosity towards him, given that he took over her co-hosting role on CNN’s New Year's Eve special.
