Foo Fighter's Dave Grohl’s ex Tina Basich reveals past infidelity following his recent cheating
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has revealed he cheated on his wife, Jordyn Blum, by announcing the birth of his new daughter, leading to widespread online reactions. Grohl's ex-girlfriend, Tina Basich, who dated him for two years in the 1990s, claimed in her 2003 memoir Pretty Good for a Girl that Grohl had a history of infidelity. In the memoir, Basich expressed her disappointment after discovering Grohl was involved with another woman during their relationship. "I found out secondhand, through the grapevine," she wrote, adding, "Breakups suck. But rockstar exits are the worst."
Basich shared that Grohl only gave her a brief five-minute phone call after weeks of avoiding her. Reflecting on the challenges of their relationship, she said, "The pressure was too much to handle," referring to Grohl's busy career and commitments at the time.
The affair revelation has also attracted attention from gossip account DeuxMoi, which had previously hinted at Grohl's infidelity in a 2023 podcast, referring to him as a “pumpkin eater,” a slang term for cheaters. The recent news has led to speculation about whether other women will come forward with similar claims.
Grohl and his wife were seen together at Wimbledon earlier this year, presenting a united front despite the ongoing rumours.
