NAB court seeks details on cases against Malik
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court has sought details of cases against Interior Minister Rehman Malik in the superior courts and has adjourned the case regarding references against him till July 13.
NAB informed the accountability court on Monday that two corruption references filed by the bureau 13 years ago against the minister were ‘not genuine’ and it did not want to further prosecute the cases. The NAB Chairman had requested the court to withdraw the two references against Malik as no sufficient evidence is available against him.
Justice Chaudhry Abdul Haq of the NAB court number four heard the case.
The court ordered the authorities to submit details of the cases against Rehman Malik in other higher courts.
