Dave Grohl seemed to foresee that his marriage to Jordyn Blum might not last — even before it began.

In 2007, the Foo Fighters frontman, 55, recalled in an interview with Q magazine that when he first met his future wife at the Sunset Marquis bar in West Hollywood, Calif., in 2001, he thought, “not a chance.”

Because of how stunning the former MTV producer was, Grohl began drinking heavily with his bandmate Taylor Hawkins, who passed away in 2022.

“So I’m just having some drinks and acting like a jackass. And by the end of the night I was pissed and I’m staring at her going, ‘You’re my future ex-wife,’” he told the now-closed music magazine.

Grohl mentioned that despite his comment, Blum wasn’t put off, and she gave him her number, writing, “Jordyn, your future ex-wife” alongside it.

“We saw each other a few times,” the “Learn to Fly” singer added.

Grohl later married Blum in 2003, and the couple now shares three daughters: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.

In the same interview with Q, nearly 17 years ago, the former Nirvana drummer expressed that he saw himself as a family man by that time.

“She’s unbelievable,” he said, referring to his eldest daughter.

“Jordyn goes to this Mommy And Me class …. She said, ‘Y’know, fathers are welcome,’ which kinda meant, like, ‘Get your ass to Mommy And Me.’ I was like, ‘Alright….’”

Blum was Grohl’s second wife, as he had previously been married to Jennifer Youngblood in 1994.

However, the pair reportedly separated due to Grohl’s “admitted infidelities,” as stated in a 2007 article by The Guardian.

Recently, Grohl seems to have returned to some old behaviors, as he revealed on Instagram Tuesday that he had been unfaithful to Blum and had welcomed a child with another woman.

“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” the “Best of You” singer wrote in a lengthy post. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.”
