South Korean pop sensation BTS has been named No. 19 on Billboard's list of the 25 Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century. The septet, formed by Big Hit Entertainment in 2013, has redefined global pop stardom by blending genres and breaking records worldwide. According to Billboard, BTS "crashed through every door of what it takes to be a successful pop act" and created a meaningful community through their message of "positivity, love, and connection."

With six Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hits and six Billboard 200 No. 1 albums, BTS has achieved unprecedented success in the U.S. and beyond. Billboard highlights the group’s ability to "bend and blend genres," with members excelling in vocals, rap, and dance. The group’s loyal fanbase, known as ARMY, has also played a pivotal role in their success.
