MUNA, the indie pop band known for their connection with fans, has recently spoken out about toxic behaviour from some members of their fanbase.

Following Chappell Roan's viral TikTok videos calling out similar behaviour, other artists like Hayley Williams and Jewel offered their support and shared their own experiences.

Now, MUNA has joined the conversation, addressing their own encounters with harassment.

In a statement shared on their band's Instagram story, MUNA expressed concerns about the ongoing issues they’ve been facing. "We love our fans but some stuff has been happening recently that we cannot be silent about," they wrote.

The post went on to detail incidents including cyberstalking, hacking, and bullying both the band and their loved ones. "This sh*t is truly scary for us and it’s literally embarrassing to have to post about this but here we are."

MUNA made it clear they were not going to publicly name those responsible but left a firm warning: "Not gonna say names because you guys know who you are. And we do too. Cut it the f*ck out."

This comes as singer Katie Gavin is preparing to release her debut solo album, What A Relief, amidst the ongoing challenges.
