Former MNA Hayat Rokhri passes away

Hamir Hayat Khan Rokhri, former MNA, ex-District Nazim of Mianwali and General Secretary of the PML-N Sargodha Division, has passed away.

He suffered a severe heart attack near Khushab while returning to Mianwali from Lahore. Despite being rushed to the nearest hospital, THQ Qaidabad, his life could not be saved.

Rokhri's body has been transported to Rokhri House in Mianwali.

A prominent political figure, he was elected multiple times as MNA from Mianwali and served as District Nazim.

Following the death of his brother, Ameer Hayat Khan Rokhri, Hamir Hayat Khan continued to contest elections with support from his father, Gul Hameed Khan Rokhri, who held the MPA seat.
