Women offered free IT courses

Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Syed Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, inaugurated a free computer centre at the Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Industrial Home in Keamari, emphasising the importance of empowering women through digital skills.

He stressed the need for facilities that equip women with skills to contribute to the nation, ensuring gender equality.

The centre, established under his vision, aims to enhance skills of women in Keamari and surrounding areas.

He promised similar opportunities would be provided in future across social, educational, and economic domains to empower women further.
