Information Minister Attaullah Tarar claims PTI rally rejected by public

PML-N leader criticises PTI for using fake videos, false tweets to cover up rally's failure

Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has asserted that the public has rejected the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally on Sunday.

In a statement regarding the PTI event, Tarar noted that traffic in Islamabad and Punjab remained normal, questioning the whereabouts of the millions of people who were supposed to bring about a revolution.

He criticised PTI for using fake videos to promote their rally and accused the party of employing false and fabricated tweets to conceal the event's failure. He claimed that PTI engaged in spreading false information and propaganda on social media.

According to the information minister, the leadership of PTI in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has completely failed.

He concluded his remarks on the unsuccessful rally by reflecting on the lost spirit of change, stating, “The zeal for change, the fervour for change, has now become a matter of ‘Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un’ (To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return).”
