New gifts case transferred to another court

RAWALPINDI:

The Accountability Court, Islamabad has transferred the new Toshakhana case to Court Number 2 for hearing.

Judge Ali Muhammad Warraich will hear the case and will issue notices to the case parties for the hearing.

The new Toshakhana case was filed on the charge that former prime minister Imran Khan's spouse Bushra Bibi had retained a Balghari jewellery set gifted to her by the Saudi crown prince during the couple's visit to the kingdom from May 7 to 10, 2021.

The jewellery set included a ring, bracelet, necklace and ear rings.
