JLo & Matt Damon share 'deep conversation' at 'Unstoppable' afterparty amidst Ben Affleck's divorce
Jennifer Lopez and Matt Damon engaged in a heartfelt conversation at the afterparty following the premiere of their film "Unstoppable" at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
The two co-producers and friends were seen chatting and laughing for over 20 minutes, with Lopez even clasping Damon's hands at one point.
This intimate moment occurred amidst the absence of Ben Affleck, Lopez's ex-husband and co-producer of the film. The premiere marked Lopez's first major public appearance since filing for divorce from Affleck in August.
The film, a biopic about wrestler Anthony Robles, received a standing ovation at TIFF. Lopez, who plays Robles' mother, emphasized the importance of portraying Judy's story with respect and accuracy.
The 'Unstoppable' afterparty was held at EPOCH Bar & Kitchen Terrace at The Ritz-Carlton, where Lopez and Damon were joined by other cast members like Don Cheadle and Luciana Damon, Matt's wife.
Lopez stunned on the red carpet in a shimmering silver gown, further emphasizing her presence at the event.
This public display of camaraderie between Lopez and Damon comes after Lopez's recent divorce filing from Affleck. The couple had married in 2022 but cited irreconcilable differences in their separation.
"Unstoppable" is slated for a limited theatrical release in December and will be available on Prime Video soon.
