IED explosion injures five people in Syria's Daraa region
An improvised explosive device (IED) detonated near Panorama Roundabout in the southern Syrian city of Daraa on Saturday, injuring five people, including a woman and a child.
The wounded were transported to Daraa National Hospital and al-Rahma Private Hospital for treatment, according to Syria’s state-run news agency, SANA.
The blast occurred at the northern entrance to the city, with local police confirming the incident.
This comes just days after an attack by unknown assailants in eastern Daraa killed three Syrian government soldiers and injured two others on September 5.
The situation in Daraa continues to be volatile, with repeated clashes and attacks affecting civilians and military personnel alike.
