First Lady Jill Biden attends Ralph Lauren's spring 2025 star-studded NYFW Hamptons event

Dr. Jill Biden swapped the White House for the Hamptons, attending Ralph Lauren’s spring 2025 runway show on Thursday as the guest of honor.

Wearing a stylish black pantsuit with a square neckline and a sparkling brooch, the first lady was accompanied by Finnegan Biden, Hunter Biden’s daughter, and mingled with notable figures like Anna Wintour, Usher, and Tom Hiddleston during the cocktail hour.

Ralph Lauren has been a favored designer for the first family; President Joe Biden donned the brand at his 2021 inauguration, and Dr. Biden has frequently chosen Ralph Lauren for significant appearances throughout her time in office, including last month’s Democratic National Convention.

Naomi Biden, the president’s granddaughter, also selected Ralph Lauren to create her wedding dress for her White House wedding in 2022.

But it wasn’t just the Secret Service that made this NYFW show stand out.

Few designers today have the influence or resources to attract top editors and Hollywood stars to Bridgehampton during a hectic workweek — regardless of the lengthy drive — or to construct a perfect replica of the Polo Bar on the grounds of Khalily Stables.

The runway featured clothing ranging from distressed denim to airy linen and crochet separates to intricately adorned evening wear, modeled by iconic figures like Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington; Turlington’s daughter, Grace Burns, and nephew, James Turlington, also walked in the show.

Lucky Blue Smith was among the models as well, with his wife, TikTok “trad wife” sensation Nara Smith, cheering him on from the front row in a sharp pinstriped pantsuit.
