Israeli strikes kill ten Palestinians in Gaza
At least 10 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on two residential homes in the central and southern Gaza, according to Palestinian sources on Friday.
The strikes, which targeted a house west of the Nuseirat refugee camp, resulted in the deaths of five people, with several others still trapped under the rubble, reported medical teams.
In a separate incident in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, another airstrike killed five people and injured several others. The Palestinian Civil Defense confirmed the casualties but added that recovery efforts are ongoing.
The Israeli military has not commented on the airstrikes.
The ongoing Israeli offensive in Gaza has pushed the Palestinian death toll to 40,878, according to health officials in Gaza. Israel’s airstrikes have intensified, even hitting areas designated as “humanitarian safe zones” by the Israeli military.
With Gaza under a blockade, the region is facing critical shortages of food, water, and medical supplies, raising concerns of a humanitarian catastrophe.
Israel has also faced allegations of genocide at the International Court of Justice over its actions in Gaza.
No official response from the Israeli military has been released regarding the recent incidents.
