Rumors are circulating on social media, particularly on X (formerly Twitter), suggesting that actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson and director Sam Taylor-Johnson have separated after 12 years of marriage. Speculation intensified when Aaron, best known for his role in Bullet Train, was seen without his wedding ring. Despite the rumors, neither Aaron nor Sam have made any public statements to confirm or deny the claims.

The couple, who have faced scrutiny for their 23-year age gap, first met in 2009 while working on Nowhere Boy, a biopic directed by Sam, in which Aaron starred as John Lennon. Aaron, now 34, was 18 at the time. The two became engaged shortly after the film wrapped and welcomed their first child, Wylda Rae, in 2010. Their second daughter, Romy Hero, was born in 2012. They tied the knot in Somerset, England, that same year.

Throughout their marriage, the couple has faced criticism over their age difference. In an interview with Rolling Stone UK in March 2024, Aaron addressed the scrutiny, explaining, “What most people did when they were twenty, I did when I was 13,” referencing the accelerated pace of his career and life. He added, “At what speed are you supposed to enjoy life? It’s strange to me”.

As of now, the rumors remain unconfirmed, but the couple's relationship has sparked renewed attention amid these recent developments.
