Natasha Rothwell, known for her role in White Lotus, is set to develop and star in a television adaptation of Tareasa "Reesa Teesa" Johnson's viral TikTok series, Who TF Did I Marry?
The 52-part series, which details Johnson’s revelations about her ex-husband, has garnered nearly half a billion views on the platform.
Variety reported the news on Wednesday, Sept. 4. Rothwell shared her excitement on Instagram, writing, "CAN’T STOP. WON’T STOP. LFG. @bighattieproductions." Johnson's TikTok series took viewers through a detailed recount of her relationship with her ex-husband, whom she referred to as Legion.
Throughout the series, she shared how she gradually uncovered his alleged lies about his job, finances, education, and even his criminal past. She also described how the pandemic escalated their relationship, leading them to marry, only for her to discover deeper deceptions.
In a March interview with GMA, Johnson explained that her decision to share the story was driven by a belief that it could help others. "I really, truly believe the story will help somebody," she said.
