A shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, has left four people dead and nine others injured. The victims include students Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo, both 14 years old, and teachers Christina Irimie, 53, and Richard Aspinwall, 39. The suspect, 14-year-old Colt Gray, has been arrested and will be charged as an adult, according to authorities.

Mason Schermerhorn, described by family friends as having an "upbeat attitude about everything," was a recent student at Apalachee High. Doug Kilburn, a family friend, told The New York Times that Schermerhorn enjoyed reading, video games, and visiting Walt Disney World. Louis Briscoe, another friend, said, "Nobody should have to go through this type of pain"  according to new york times.

Christian Angulo’s sister, Lisette Angulo, shared her grief on a GoFundMe page, describing him as "a very good kid, very sweet, and so caring" (source: GoFundMe). Friends remembered him as funny and with a "chill" attitude.

According to Fox, Teachers Christina Irimie and Richard Aspinwall were also killed in the attack. Irimie, a math teacher, was described by her students as patient and caring.

Aspinwall, also a math teacher and the school’s football defensive coordinator, was remembered as a "helluva human being" who "would do anything for anyone," according to Buford High School coach Brandon Gill, Fox reported.

Eight other students and one teacher, David Phenix, were injured but are expected to recover, authorities reported.
