Amy Slaton, star of TLC’s '1000-Lb. Sisters', was arrested on Monday, September 2, along with her friend Brian Lovvorn after authorities discovered drugs in their car at a drive-thru zoo in Crockett County, Tennessee.

Police were initially called to the scene after Amy, 36, reported being bitten by a camel at the West Tennessee Safari Park.

Upon arrival, officers noted a strong odor coming from Amy and Brian's vehicle.

According to arrest warrants obtained by The U.S. Sun, authorities found 80 grams of marijuana and magic mushrooms in the car, while two children under the age of 8 were also present.

The children were picked up by a relative following the arrest.

Both Amy and Brian face charges of illegal possession of Schedule I and Schedule IV substances, as well as two counts of child endangerment.

They were booked into Crockett County Jail and released on a $10,000 bond each. Amy’s court arraignment is scheduled for September 5.

Despite Amy's claims of being bitten by a camel, zoo co-owner Claude Conley disputed her account, stating, "We dispute that Amy was bitten by a camel because there is no bruising."

He suggested she cut her arm on something else, adding that her companion had been acting erratically when the police arrived.

Fans took to social media to express their disappointment, with one writing, "Oh Amy, I was rooting for you," and another joking, "Tammy!! Girl, come get your sister!"

Meanwhile, Amy’s sister Amanda Halterman shared a cryptic message on Facebook, hinting at her support for Amy during this difficult time.
