Donald Trump clarified his intentions regarding an appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast during an interview on the Lex Fridman Podcast (Episode #442).
Despite Rogan's reputation as one of the world's top conversationalists, Trump revealed he has no immediate plans to appear on the popular show. "I guess I'd do it, but I haven't been asked, and I'm not asking them," Trump stated, making it clear that he isn't actively seeking an invitation.
Trump addressed the perceived tension between him and Rogan, particularly after Rogan praised RFK Jr. and Trump responded with less flattering comments.
However, Trump downplayed any conflict, noting that while he likes Rogan, he doesn't know him personally. "I only see him when I walk into the arena with Dana [White] and I shake his hand," Trump explained.
Though he acknowledged Rogan's skill, Trump hinted that their differing political views might influence the dynamic.
Describing Rogan as "sort of a liberal guy," Trump nonetheless appreciated Rogan's support of RFK Jr., whom Trump also admires. Ultimately, Trump emphasized that there isn't any real tension or negotiation about a potential appearance on Rogan's podcast.
