August 2024 reminded us that pop culture is a constantly evolving landscape of surprises and sensations.

August 2024 brought a whirlwind of pop culture events. The "It Ends With Us" movie premiere was overshadowed by rumors of a rift between its stars, while the long-awaited "Uglies" trailer finally dropped.

TV fans rejoiced at the announcement of a "Peaky Blinders" sequel, and "Emily in Paris" returned for its fourth season.   

In music, ASAP Rocky released new music, Travis Scott faced legal trouble, and Blackpink debuted their EP alongside a documentary series. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars' 'Die With A Smile' music video collaboration was a highlight, as was the release of Megan Thee Stallion's "Mamushi" video.

Celebrity news was abuzz with Jennifer Lopez filing for divorce from Ben Affleck, Justin and Hailey Bieber welcoming their first child, and Cardi B filing for divorce from Offset. The tragic passing of actor Gina Rowland and rapper Fat Man Scoop also made headlines.   

The fashion and beauty world saw exciting collaborations, with Nokia and Mattel teaming up on a Barbie flip phone and Crocs partnering with Duolingo. Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian's Skims brand joined forces with Beats by Dre for a limited-edition headphone release.
