Mark Zuckerberg, the world’s fourth-richest man, is embracing a more luxurious lifestyle, trading in his signature grey T-shirts for printed sartorial styles and now sporting a luxury timepiece—the $141,000 Patek Philippe Grand Complication 5236P in platinum.

Known for his casual appearance, it’s rare to spot the Facebook founder with a luxury watch, but his recent upgrade shows that the billionaire’s style evolution is in full swing.

Zuckerberg’s newfound interest in luxury watches reportedly started after attending a pre-wedding bash hosted by Anant Ambani, the son of Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani.

At the event, held in the Indian wildlife sanctuary Vantara, Zuckerberg admired Ambani’s $4.6 million Richard Mille RM 56-02 Sapphire.

The Meta CEO remarked, “You know, I never really wanted a watch, but after seeing that, I was like, ‘Watches are cool.’”

Prior to this luxury splurge, Zuckerberg was often seen wearing the now-discontinued Garmin Forerunner 945, a $500 smartwatch that catered to his fitness routine.

However, as his taste in fashion evolves, it will be interesting to see how the tech tycoon continues to expand his watch collection, possibly adding even more prestigious timepieces like a Patek Grandmaster or a Richard Mille.
