Justin Theroux has opened up about his relationship with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, saying she is still "very dear" to him six years after their divorce. The couple, who were married from 2015 to 2018, have maintained a close friendship since their split.

In a recent interview with The Times, Theroux, 53, reaffirmed the close bond he shares with Aniston, 55. "She is still very dear to me," he said. The pair began dating in 2011 and got engaged the following year before tying the knot in a backyard ceremony in 2015.

Theroux also spoke out about Aniston's recent response to Sen. J.D. Vance's comments about women who have not given birth. Aniston, who has been open about her past infertility struggles and IVF attempts, wrote on her Instagram Stories that she "truly can't believe" Vance's comments and expressed hope that his daughter would not need to turn to IVF as a second option.

Theroux, who is now engaged to Nicole Brydon Bloom, said he feels protective of Aniston and praised her for "battling back criticism" in response to Vance's comments. The couple's close friendship is a testament to their ability to maintain a positive relationship despite their divorce.

Theroux and Aniston's divorce was finalized in 2018, but it seems that their friendship has only grown stronger over time.
