Rain forecast for various areas of Karachi today: Met Office

Karachi is expected to experience more rain today while humid weather continues to affect the port city.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, various areas of the city could see rainfall, with a partially cloudy sky prevailing.

On Sunday, areas such as Gulshan-e-Iqbal, University Road, and the Old Sabzi Mandi received rainfall.

The department has forecast that winds from the sea will blow at speeds of 10 to 30 kilometres per hour over the next 24 hours.

Due to high humidity, residents will feel the temperature as being up to five degrees higher than the actual recorded temperature.

Today’s minimum temperature in Karachi was recorded at 27°C, with a maximum of 31°C to 33°C expected.
