RAWALPINDI:

A principal of a government school has been accused of violently assaulting a ninth-grade student, causing a fracture in the student's shoulder in the Gorha Rajgan area of Rawat. The student's parents have filed a complaint against the principal for the brutal attack. The police have summoned other students who witnessed the incident to aid in the investigation and ensure effective action is taken.

According to the police, the case was registered at the Rawat police station by the father of the victim, 17-year-old Haider Ali. The complainant informed the police that Haider Ali is a ninth-grade student at Government High School Gorha Rajgan. On August 22, Haider went to school but returned home feeling unwell. The next day, he did not attend school. When his mother asked him, he said he had fallen in the washroom. While being taken to the Benazir Bhutto Hospital for treatment, he lost consciousness en route. After an X-ray, doctors confirmed a fracture in his right shoulder.

Haider's younger brother, Tayyab, reported that other children playing outside said the school principal, Faisal, had beaten Haider with kicks and punches. When asked by his mother, Haider revealed that the principal had assaulted him, causing him to fall onto a table and resulting in injuries to his shoulder and body.
