Pakistan's bowlers initially made significant inroads, reducing Bangladesh to 26-6. However, Litton Das's brilliant century allowed the visitors to recover and eventually post a total of 262 runs.
At the close of Day 3, Pakistan faced a challenging scenario, managing only nine runs while losing two key wickets.
The situation further deteriorated on Day 4 as they lost four more crucial players in the first session.
Hasan Mahmud's exceptional performance earned him a five-wicket haul, and Pakistan was eventually bowled out for 172, setting Bangladesh a target of 185 runs.
The first day's play between the two teams was abandoned due to continuous rain and a wet outfield, and the toss could not take place due to bad weather.
Earlier last month,, Bangladesh secured a historic 10-wicket victory over Pakistan in the first Test of their two-match series in Rawalpindi.
This win marked Bangladesh's first-ever Test triumph against Pakistan after 14 previous encounters, which included 12 losses and a single draw, according to the ICC.
With this landmark victory, Bangladesh now only trails India and South Africa as teams they have yet to defeat in Test cricket.
Despite a delayed start due to a wet outfield, the match turned into a thrilling contest by the fifth day.
