Jax Taylor, former "Vanderpump Rules" star, has revealed his recent diagnosis of bipolar disorder and PTSD.

In an Instagram post on Monday, the 45-year-old shared a black-and-white photo of himself holding papers, explaining that he had checked into an intensive inpatient treatment facility over a month ago.

Taylor disclosed that, after years of sensing something was wrong but being unsure of the cause, he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD.

Taylor, who is currently divorcing Brittany Cartwright, the mother of his three-year-old son Cruz, expressed that while he is scared for the future, he is focused on becoming a better version of himself.

He emphasized the lifelong battle of managing mental health and thanked those who have supported him during this difficult time.

In July, Taylor’s representative confirmed that he had sought in-patient treatment for his mental health struggles. Taylor left the facility in August and resumed filming Season 2 of "The Valley," around the time Cartwright filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
