Zac Efron makes stylish return to public eye at amfAR Gala after hospitalization

Zac Efron made a triumphant return to the spotlight at the amfAR Gala during the Venice Film Festival, his first public appearance since his hospitalization last month. The actor, sporting a dapper all-black ensemble, looked happy and healthy as he mingled with other stars, including Richard Gere and Alejandra Silva.

The Gala also honored Antonio Banderas and film producer Mohammed Al Turki and featured performances by Kelly Rowland and Rumer Willis.

Efron's hospitalization followed a "minor swimming incident" in Ibiza, where he ingested water into his lungs after hitting the bottom of a pool. Fortunately, he recovered quickly and assured fans of his well-being shortly after.
