Avid Harry Potter fans were let down when the anticipated annual Hogwarts Express announcement at King's Cross station failed to materialize. Despite Warner Bros. Discovery's prior cancellation notice and encouragement to attend an online event instead, many fans still flocked to the iconic location.
A video circulating on Twitter captured the scene as fans eagerly awaited the 11 am announcement. However, instead of the familiar call for Platform 9 3/4, the crowd was met with silence, followed by laughter and expressions of dismay.
Harry Potter fans were left disappointed after gathering at King’s Cross station for the annual Hogwarts announcement, only for it to never come.
It had previously been announced that it wasn’t happening this year.
