On his 27th birthday, BTS sensation Jungkook took a moment to connect with fans despite his ongoing military duties.

The youngest member of the globally renowned group shared his appreciation for the BTS ARMY, who celebrated his birthday with enthusiasm.

On Sunday, September 1, Jungkook posted on Weverse, thanking fans for their warm wishes. "Dear ARMY, thank you for sending me the birthday wishes. I am doing well," he reassured his followers, adding, "I will finish the remaining time in the military well. I hope that ARMY also stays well during that time."

In addition to his birthday update, fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Jungkook's debut solo documentary, 'Jungkook: I Am Still,' which is set to premiere globally on September 18.

The documentary will chronicle Jungkook's journey from being a BTS member to achieving solo stardom.

It will also provide an exclusive look at the hard work and dedication behind his solo album 'Golden', including unseen footage from its intense promotional campaign.

For those unfamiliar, Jungkook, along with fellow BTS member Jimin, enlisted in the military companion soldiers’ program on December 12, 2023.

Both are expected to be discharged in June 2025, reuniting with the rest of the BTS members—Jin, J-Hope, RM, Suga, and V.
