Ed Sheeran is proving once again that he can take a joke, recently jumping on the viral meme trend featuring his hit song, ‘Thinking Out Loud.’

The singer-songwriter took to Instagram on Saturday to share a lighthearted video referencing the popular meme that's been circulating online.

The meme focuses on the lyric, "darling, I will be loving you 'til we're 70." Users typically react by giving the middle finger when these lyrics play, with the caption, "Ed Sheeran: As soon as he turns 70."

Sheeran joined the fun by sharing his own version of the meme. In the video, he playfully flips the middle finger to the camera when the lyrics appear, accompanied by the caption "when they turn 70."

This self-deprecating humor didn't stop there. Sheeran also responded to a TikTok comment where a fan mistakenly thought the lyrics were "I will be loving you 'til we're 17." Sheeran quipped in response, "You’re on a watch list somewhere."
