Rapper Fatman Scoop dies at 52 after collapsing during concert
Isaac Freeman III, better known as Fatman Scoop, has passed away at the age of 52.
The New York-born rapper, famous for his iconic 1999 hit ‘Be Faithful,’ suffered a medical emergency during a performance in Hamden, Connecticut, on August 30, 2024.
The incident occurred at Hamden Town Center Park around 8:33 p.m., where the artist suddenly collapsed on stage, causing panic among the audience.
His death was confirmed on social media by DJ Pure Cold, prompting an outpouring of heartfelt tributes from fans and colleagues.
