Nawaz summons PML-N meeting today

PML-N President Nawaz Sharif summoned an emergency meeting of the senior party leaders at the Central Secretariat in Lahore to discuss the ongoing political and economic situation in the country, sources said on Friday.

According to the sources, the meeting would be held on Saturday (today). It would be attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy PM Ishaq Dar, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, besides senior party leaders Hamza Shehbaz, Rana Sanaullah and federal and provincial ministers.

The meeting amid rumours that the PML-N president is planning to fly abroad.
