Exhibition showcases Iram Wani's mastery

'Matrix of Life: Impressions and Iterations' will remain open to public until September 4

An exhibition "Matrix of Life: Impressions and Iterations" by renowned artist Iram Wani was recently opened at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA). The exhibition highlights various printmaking techniques, ranging from traditional methods to contemporary innovations.

Iram Wani, an acclaimed educator and visual artist, has created a collection that explores the intricate possibilities of printmaking. With a career spanning over two decades, her work reflects a deep understanding of the medium, pushing boundaries and creating a dialogue between traditional practices and modern interpretations.

The opening ceremony was graced by the Ambassador of Korea to Pakistan, Park Ki Jun. Speaking on the occasion, Park Ki Jun said: "I am deeply impressed by the creativity and technical mastery demonstrated in Wani's work. This exhibition not only highlights the rich tradition of printmaking in Pakistan but also showcases its potential for innovation and global dialogue. It is a testament to the vibrant cultural landscape of Pakistan and the power of art to connect people across cultures."

The exhibition "Matrix of Life: Impressions and Iterations" will remain open to the public till September 4 at Gallery No. 2 PNCA, Islamabad. Visitors are invited to explore the dynamic and evolving world of printmaking through this unique showcase of talent.

The exhibition will remain open to the public until September 4 at Gallery No. 2, PNCA, Islamabad. Additionally, PNCA plans to organise a printmaking workshop on September 2, conducted by Iram Wani herself, offering participants a chance to learn directly from the artist.
