Princess Märtha Louise and Shaman Durek's wedding festivities have kicked off in Norway, with the couple's pre-wedding celebrations getting underway in the coastal town of Alesund. The royal wedding, which is set to take place on Saturday, Aug. 31, is expected to be a grand affair, with around 350 guests in attendance.

The couple, who are set to tie the knot at Hotel Union in Geiranger, have been sharing glimpses of their special day on social media, including a welcome party with a "sexy and cool" dress code and a boat trip along the Geiranger Fjord. The boat trip, which took place on Aug. 30, saw the couple and their guests enjoying the stunning scenery of the fjord, with Princess Märtha Louise sporting a black leather ensemble and Durek opting for a brown outfit and sunglasses.

The royal wedding is expected to be a grand affair, with the Norwegian royal family in attendance, including King Harald and Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, and Princess Astrid. The couple's younger brother, Crown Prince Haakon, and his wife, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, were also spotted attending the pre-wedding celebrations.
