
The report says 2,491 dengue fever patients have so far been reported this year. Of these, 2,410 have already been discharged after full recovery, it adds. Of the 81 patients, 71 are hospitalised in Lahore. Of these, 27 are under treatment at Mayo Hospital, 18 at Shaikh Zayed Hospital, seven at Doctors Hospital, six at Services Hospital, four at Ghurki Trust Hospital, three each at Lahore General Hospital and National Hospital and one each at Jinnah Hospital, Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital and Farooq Hospital.
Three patients are under treatment at Faisalabad’s Allied Hospital, two each at Holy Family Hospital Rawalpindi and Faisalabad district headquarters (DHQ) hospital and one each at Vehari DHQ hospital and Sheikh Zayed Hospital Rahim Yar Khan. The report says another 236 patients have been tested positive for dengue by medical laboratories in the province: 112 patients by Shaukat Khanum Hospital’s Laboratory, 74 by Institute of Public Health Bacteriology Lab, 33 by Chugtai Lab and 17 by Rawalpindi’s Health Department laboratory.
