Imran urges SC to hear appeal at earliest

PTI founding chairman Imran Khan has filed an application with the Supreme Court, requesting an early hearing of his appeal in the disqualification case.

The plea had been filed through Barrister Ali Zafar.

The application adopted the stance that an attempt was being made to exclude the PTI founding chairman from politics. It added that the ECP had de-seated the former premier from Mianwali based on a reference from the National Assembly speaker.

The plea noted that Imran was prevented from participating in the elections due to the decision of the election supervisor.
