Pakistani drama actor Imran Ashraf is stepping onto the global stage with an international project that promises to tickle your funny bone while shining a light on the hurdles faced by international students. The actor has landed a lead role in a Punjabi comedy film Enna Nu Rehna Sehna Nai Aunda.

Currently in Canada, Ashraf is busy shooting for his first Punjabi film, which is written and directed by Rupan Bal. The movie, already creating a buzz, is expected to hit screens soon. The film dives into the comedic chaos that ensues when students from different cultures try to navigate life abroad—a theme that's likely to resonate with audiences around the world.

But Ashraf isn't embarking on this cinematic journey alone. He's joined by none other than Indian Punjabi singer and actor Jassie Gill, and the duo is set to bring their A-game to the screen. Taking to Instagram, Ashraf shared a snapshot of the two leads, captioning it with a nod of respect for his co-star. "Presenting you a great actor and a great human," wrote Ashraf. Gill then reposted the image on his Story in response.

The Mazaaq Raat host's journey to international stardom has been anything but ordinary. He began his career as a child artist, gradually making his way to leading roles that have captured the hearts of millions. His breakout drama role in Ranjha Ranjha Kardi was nothing short of a phenomenon, cementing his status as a leading star. Since then, he's won over viewers in popular dramas like Kahin Deep Jalay, Namak Haram, and Raqse Bismil.
