Afghan couple killed in roof collapse

An elderly Afghan couple died and their daughter was injured when the roof of their house in Afghan Basti collapsed in the limits of Gulshan-e-Maymar police station. Among the deceased are 73-year-old Oraz Sufi Khilji, and his wife, 67-year-old Agha Gul.

According to Gulshan-e-Maymar police, the incident took place between Tuesday and Wednesday night during heavy downpour, however, the police received the information about the incident on Wednesday morning.

The deceased husband and wife were Afghan nationals. Police handed over the bodies to the heirs after legal proceedings.
