Madame Tussauds recently introduced a new wax figure of Selena Gomez, which fans have applauded for its remarkable likeness to the star.

The figure, dressed in a black-and-white checkered outfit that Selena previously wore while promoting her beauty brand, Rare Beauty, in Paris, was unveiled on August 27.

Social media users expressed their astonishment at how realistic the figure looked, with some even mistaking it for the real Selena.

One user wrote, "This one is actually realistic, love it."

“Why are some of them so scarily spot on and then others are absolutely horrific. Nothing in between,” added another.

Another user commented, “Damn finally an accurate one.. they ate with this one ngl.”

“Stunning! The detail on Selena's wax figure is incredible,” added another user.

Selena Gomez has had a busy year, including receiving an Emmy nomination for Only Murders in the Building, releasing new music, and continuing her work with Rare Beauty.

In a May interview with TIME, she discussed societal beauty standards and highlighted that her brand encourages self-acceptance rather than the need to wear makeup.

Regarding her music career, Selena mentioned the emotional challenges of touring, which she hasn’t done since 2016. Outside of her professional life, Selena has been in a relationship with record producer Benny Blanco since mid-2023.

Despite their relationship, Selena emphasized her independence, reflecting on her five years of being single and her plan to adopt if she hadn’t met anyone by the age of 35.
