The mystery surrounding a viral photo of Pakistani actress Reema Khan holding a newborn has been resolved.
The image, posted on Reema’s official Instagram account, quickly spread across social media, leading to speculation and congratulations over the supposed birth of a second child.
Dr Tariq Shahab, Reema Khan's husband, has confirmed that the child is not theirs.
Reema, who is known for her significant contributions to the Pakistani film industry, remained silent amid the speculation.
However, her husband, Dr. Tariq Shahab, a renowned cardiologist, addressed the rumours in an interview with a private news agency.
Dismissing reports of a second child as baseless and purely speculative, Dr. Tariq clarified that the baby in the photo is the son of Reema's cousin.
He further stated that if there is any good news regarding their family in the future, they will announce it publicly.
Reema Khan, who married Dr. Tariq Shahab in 2011 and had their first son in 2015, has been away from the showbiz industry but remains active on social media.
