Wendy Williams spotted in public for the first time in over a year, accompanied by son Kevin Jr.

Wendy Williams made her first public appearance in over a year, visiting a holistic store in Newark.

Wendy Williams has been seen in public for the first time in over a year. The 60-year-old television personality was spotted at Bolingo Balance, a holistic store in Newark, N.J., on Monday, August 19. Accompanied by her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., Williams appeared upbeat and engaged during the visit, according to an employee who spoke to Page Six. The sighting marks her first public appearance since March 2023.

Owned by Victor Bowman, son of the renowned herbalist Alfredo "Dr. Sebi" Bowman, Bolingo Balance hosted Williams as she explored the store. An employee described her as “sharp, upbeat, and aware,” noting that while Williams wasn’t fully familiar with the store's offerings, her son took the lead in explaining things to her. Williams briefly discussed circulation improvement but didn’t delve into details, expressing plans to return soon.

Victor Bowman later shared a photo of himself with Williams on his Facebook page, captioning it, “Wendy Williams come to my store  much love Queen.” The store’s Instagram also posted photos, showing appreciation for Williams and her son.

This public appearance is significant given Williams' recent health challenges. Since March 2023, Williams has been largely out of the public eye, dealing with ongoing health issues, including Graves' disease, lymphedema, and a diagnosis of primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia. Her family has been restricted from communicating with her, according to sources close to the situation.

As Wendy Williams continues to navigate her health struggles, her family and fans remain hopeful for her recovery.
