Min Hee-jin steps down as CEO of ADOR, will continue producing NewJeans
Min Hee-jin has stepped down from her position as CEO of ADOR, the agency confirmed in an official statement on the 27th. While she will no longer serve as CEO, Min Hee-jin will remain with the company as an internal director and continue her role in producing the popular girl group NewJeans.
The agency explained, "Min Hee-jin will no longer serve as CEO but will remain as an internal director of the company. She will continue her role in producing NewJeans." This change is part of a broader structural adjustment within ADOR.
In the same statement, ADOR announced that Kim Joo-young, an internal director with significant HR experience across various industries, has been appointed as the new CEO. The company emphasized that Kim's focus will be on stabilizing and restructuring the organization, which includes separating the production and management departments.
"While the multi-label management system has been consistently applied across all labels, ADOR had previously been an exception, with the CEO overseeing both production and management," the company stated. The restructuring aims to enhance the company's support for NewJeans, ensuring the group's growth and future success.
The organizational changes reflect ADOR's commitment to refining its operations and providing dedicated resources to its artists. "With these personnel changes and organizational restructuring, ADOR is committed to fully supporting the growth and continued success of NewJeans," the statement concluded.
