Travis and Jason Kelce secure 9-figure deal with Wondery for ‘New Heights’ podcast
Travis and Jason Kelce, the dynamic NFL brothers, have signed a monumental nine-figure deal with Wondery, a leading podcast studio, for their widely successful podcast "New Heights." This news, first reported by The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday, August 26, marks a significant milestone in the brothers' podcasting journey. The deal includes global distribution rights, ad-sales representation, rights to past episodes, and the ability to launch international versions of the podcast.
"We couldn’t be more excited to team up with Wondery for the next phase of ‘New Heights,’” the Kelce brothers shared in a statement. “We love this show, and the fanbase that has grown with us over the last two seasons. Wondery understands the shared vision and will offer a wealth of experience and resources to take us to ‘New Heights!’ We are going to create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership. We are thrilled to start Season 3 – see you soon, 92%ers!”
Wondery CEO Jen Sargent expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the strong connection she’s built with Travis and Jason. "Sports is a really exciting category for podcast listeners. It’s a strategic priority of Wondery’s and Amazon’s. So there were a lot of reasons to think about joining forces here on the ‘New Heights’ podcast,” Sargent told The Hollywood Reporter.
Launched in 2022 and originally distributed by Wave Sports + Entertainment, "New Heights" has soared in popularity, partly due to Travis’ high-profile relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift. The podcast has become a platform for Travis to share personal anecdotes, including the viral moment when he revealed his plan to pass on a friendship bracelet with his phone number to Swift during her Eras Tour show.
Travis Kelce’s career has seen rise since his relationship with Swift became public in September 2023. He is set to make his acting debut in Ryan Murphy’s upcoming horror series Grotesquerie and will host Amazon Prime Video’s new game show Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?
