Authorities are conducting a multi-state search for Brenna Swindell, the 29-year-old daughter of former UT-Austin and Major League Baseball pitcher Greg Swindell.

The Travis County Sheriff's Department reported that Brenna was last seen on Thursday night around 10:20 p.m. at Poodies Hilltop Roadhouse on Highway 71 in Spicewood. She was with her ex-boyfriend, 36-year-old Morgan Guidry, and neither of them have been seen since. Their phones have been off since last Friday, and Brenna has not been in contact with her family or friends, prompting concern.

An arrest warrant for Guidry was issued on August 23rd in Travis County. He is accused of assaulting Brenna during their relationship, with allegations of choking, slamming her head on the floor, and breaking her thumb. In a statement to law enforcement, Brenna expressed fear that Guidry was "going to kill her."

On Monday afternoon, CBS Austin spoke with Ryan Ritchie, founder of Missing People in America, who is assisting the Swindell family in the search. Ritchie conveyed the family's deep concern, noting their active efforts on social media to spread awareness.

Brenna’s mother, Sarah Swindell, posted on Facebook that her daughter’s ex-boyfriend is "in trouble with the law" due to a previous assault. She expressed uncertainty about whether Brenna left willingly but emphasized that Brenna would never abandon her three children or disappear without explanation.

Brenna is described as white, 5'4", weighing between 120 and 140 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She has tattoos on both arms and may be traveling in a white 2022 Kia Carnival with Texas license plate VFS 7528, which was last seen passing through a reader in Colorado on Interstate 25 Friday night and has since been spotted in Idaho.

Greg Swindell has also taken to social media, describing Guidry as "violent" and urging his daughter to return home. The family's concern is heightened by the fact that Brenna has three children and has not reached out to them, while the movement of the vehicle suggests an attempt to flee the area.
