Fans of Lil Wayne and Drake, one of the most iconic rap duos of the 21st century, can breathe a sigh of relief.

On August 26, Lil Wayne subtly showed support for his protégé by reposting a link to Drake’s new single, "No Face."

While it might seem like a small gesture, this marks the first public acknowledgement between the two rappers in weeks, easing concerns about their relationship.

Drake recently released three new songs on August 23, and Lil Wayne’s decision to share one of them on social media was seen as a positive sign by fans.

This comes after a period of uncertainty in Drake’s industry relationships, where he has seemingly had falling-outs with several big names.

Lil Wayne, however, appeared to remain loyal, despite some confusing actions that left fans questioning the status of their friendship.

In recent weeks, Wayne had been seen collaborating with artists like Rick Ross, who have had tensions with Drake in the past.

Additionally, he was spotted wearing an XO chain, a brand associated with The Weeknd, another artist with whom Drake has had a strained relationship.

These moves, combined with some cryptic lyrics in Wayne’s verse on Cordae’s "Saturday Mornings," fueled speculation that the two rap giants were at odds.

However, Lil Wayne’s repost of Drake’s song seems to debunk these theories. Wayne has previously defended Drake, attributing some of the criticism against him to colorism during an appearance on the Richard Sherman Podcast earlier this year.
